LIPS PRE-CARE
  • You will never achieve a very good result if the procedure is performed on dry lips. To prepare the lips for the procedure you must use a strong lips balm/ointment like vaseline, few times per day for a whole week before your appointment. This will help to lose dryness and flakiness.
  • It’s also recommended to do lips scrub a day prior to the procedure. A smooth hydrate base is essential for [igment application.

 

POTENTIAL NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS

Cold Sores can happen to everyone. It is always recommended to use cold sores prevention (medication).

Cold Sores can affect the final result, most of the pigment can be pushed out with the sores, so the result will be patchy.

The client should visit the doctor for cold sore medication prior to the appointment.

The pills should be taken a couple of days before the day of the procedure and a few days after the procedure but your doctor will give you the correct instructions and dosage.

  • Nicotine (30 minutes before the procedure)
  • Painkillers and anti-inflammatories (48 hours)
  • Vitamin E Oil Capsules (7 days)

  • Hormone Therapy Pills
  • Blood Thinners (7 Days)
Temporary contraindication

The treatment should be postponed until these conditions are taken care of:

  • Acute herpes
  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
  • Plastic surgery
  • Local infection
  • Fresh scars
  • Sunburn
  • Bruising
  • Dermatitis
  • Infection from bacteria, fungi, and viruses
  • Used Accutane in the past year
  • Skin irritation or psoriasis near the treated area
