At a time when everyone wants richer eyebrows, I’m sure many of you have already heard about microblading, but it’s not very clear what it is. I propose that we find out together today what this technique entails and how we can use it to our advantage.

Microblading is a method of reconstructing the eyebrows with semi-permanent makeup. This involves manual micropigmentation of the eyebrows, thread by thread, to give them the desired shape and color. The hairs are drawn thinner than the natural ones, in order to create a copy as faithful as possible to the natural eyebrow.

The technique is not new. It seems that it was discovered by the Japanese hundreds of years ago and practiced by us now. So how do you proceed?

A natural, non-toxic and hypoallergenic pigment is inserted manually into the upper layer of the dermis (0.3 mm – 0.1 mm in the epidermis), so as not to damage the skin deeply, with the help of a “pencil” that has a small blade with many disposable needles. Compared to other methods, this tool manages to draw some very fine lines, offering a natural look, being difficult to distinguish the natural threads from the drawn ones.

The procedure is not painful. It lasts about two hours and lasts about a year – two, depending on each person’s skin.

There is also a retouching session when any differences are corrected and the eyebrow is brought to the final shape. The pigments used are natural, part of the color is absorbed by the skin, another is not, so a retouching session is needed to pigment certain threads and finalize the shape. However, the final effect can be seen three weeks after the last session, after the color stabilizes and the skin heals.

Once the procedure is completed, certain precautions should be taken into account: do not apply eyebrow makeup for the next 24 hours, avoid sun exposure for 2-3 weeks, sauna, swimming pool, and cosmetic treatments are prohibited and contact is avoided. with water until the eyebrows formed on eyebrows.

For those with thin eyebrows that no longer grow or have various gaps, this technique is very suitable because it offers a much more natural look than the classic eyebrow tattoo. But if you do not have very big problems, I advise you to resort first to natural processes, which can bring you the desired shape faster than you think.
